4-H

4-H is America’s largest youth development organization, empowering nearly six million young people nationwide with the skills to lead for a lifetime. Rooted in the belief that kids learn best by doing, 4-H offers hands-on experiences in science, health, agriculture, leadership, and civic engagement to help youth grow into confident, capable, and compassionate leaders.

The YWCA Greater Green Bay is a proud partner of our local Brown County 4-H program. We offer a community-based 4-H experience that’s open to youth in grades K–12. This welcoming and inclusive program is a great way for youth of all backgrounds to explore their interests, develop life skills, and make new friends. Best of all, no prior 4-H experience is required!

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at the YWCA. Each session features a new theme or hands-on activity ranging from science and art to leadership, community service, cooking, and more. Whether it’s coding a robot, creating a healthy snack, or learning how to give back to the community, every meeting helps youth learn, grow, and thrive.

4-H inspires young people to dream big, work hard, and make a difference. Through caring mentors and research-backed programming, 4-H helps youth grow through:

  • Head – Managing and thinking

  • Heart – Relating and caring

  • Hands – Giving and working

  • Health – Being and living

Join 4-H today and be part of a community where young people learn by doing, lead with purpose, and build a better future. We encourage you to register and check it out!
