Giving Tuesday is a day when the world gives together. On November 28th you have the power to make a difference for children and families throughout our community. We have set a big goal for the day of raising $25,000. Through the community’s support, we offer vital programs and services in economic advancement, personal & family wellness, early education, and youth development!
YOU can change a life. Please consider making a tax-deductible gift, no matter how large or small, helps build brighter futures for the members and clients of YWCA Greater Green Bay.
Become a donor today-donations as small as $50 can move mountains but we need YOUR help to elevate our impact on November 28th or NOW, during early giving!

Abby, Student & TechGYRL®
“I really like being at YWCA, I have been going to YWCA since I was 4 months old! I have a lot of favorite things about the Y, there’s so many activities to do, like swimming & tae kwon do, I’ve done dance gymnastics, there’s also the afterschool program, and Camp Downtown. My favorite thing about the programs at YWCA is that it’s let me do a lot of different things. TechGYRLS® is when girls get to go on these field trips to different job and facilities, learn a lot and that girls can do anything. One thing that I also love about GYRLS® is that I meet new girls and we become friends.
TechGYRLS® really does give me a sense of you can be anything you want to be, anything at all- art, welding, so many other things, truck driver! I have made new friends and even see friends from school. TechGYRLS® really helped me more than ever-Girl Power! Being at YWCA has shown be how to be kind, help others, have patience, learn new things I didn’t know I could do!”
Bonnie, YWCA Volunteer
“Looking back at growing up in a family of 14 children, I am aware of so many people who reached out to my family in so many ways. Thankfully, we all survived, even thrived! Now it is my turn.
The YWCA supports many issues dear to my heart, especially empowering women, social justice and so much more. Supporting these ideals is important and helps me to see a serious purpose in these challenging times. I am reminded of how blessed I’ve been in my life and hope that my bit of volunteering at the YWCA will make at least a little difference for someone in need of their support.
The Women’s Closet and Women’s Boutique provide a few hours for me to step away from my life and support others. The staff is supportive and enjoyable; I really look forward to Thursdays there. My only regret is that I didn’t start volunteering there sooner!”

Kati, Women’s Empowerment Center Client
“I am a member of the YWCA. The YWCA has been a cheerleader in my corner. I have learned how to advocate for myself.
I am currently enrolled in the Digital Literacy Cohort, this will be a new learning experience for me on how to access many digital career opportunities.
I have faced different barriers both digitally and personally. I am looking forward to continuing my life in recovery and look forward to the future!”
Cindee, YWCA Childcare Educator
“The YWCA provides a warm nurturing, safe and loving environment where every child feels special, which makes me happy. Every teacher here is amazing.
Our commitment is lifelong learning through play-based learning. We build a foundation to help every child enhance social, emotional, and behavioral development. The YWCA offers training for all their teachers on a regular basis. My co-workers are always so very helpful. They give me great advice and push me to do better.
Our dedication, love, patience, and compassion are experienced and challenged every day, that’s why the YWCA means so much to me. Keep trying; lots of small things = BIG CHANGES”
