Celebrating Giving Tuesday with Mission Impact Campaign

This Giving Tuesday (November 29), YWCA Greater Green Bay will inspire generosity by sharing mission impact stories of women and children that have benefitted from the YWCA’s women’s empowerment services, volunteers and so much more!

GivingTuesday, launched in 2012, is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 29, 2022, and throughout the year. All throughout the day, we will be uplifting the critical work that YWCA does everyday to empower women and eliminate racism.

Amy Schaeuble, Executive Director of YWCA Greater Green Bay stated, “Our goal is to raise $10,000 for equity-centered programs focused on helping children thrive, empowering women, girls and youth, advancing racial equity and creating wellness for every body- we work with members of our community to tackle systemic issues at their roots. In partnership, Bank First, is helping make our ambitious goal a reality by matching the first $2,500 contributed by our community!”

YWCA Greater Green Bay invites the community to participate in #GivingTuesday events:

• Give thanks to YWCA Greater Green Bay’s team, volunteers, members, donors, Board members, sponsors, and community for supporting our mission
• Social media postings to share the impact the YWCA has made on women and girls in our Green Bay community and Facebook Live postings
• Social media challenge & blitz for our team, volunteers, members, donors & community to like, share & give to the YWCA Greater Green Bay to inspire members of our community to help reach our $10,000 goal

All gifts we receive today and throughout the holiday giving season will help create a world where girls and women are equal, powerful, and unstoppable — like they’ve always been. It only takes about two minutes to make a 100% tax-deductible donation to YWCA, and no amount is too small to make an impact in the lives of the women, girls, and families we serve!
